Annual Membership

Category Annual Fee Who is eligible?
Regular Membership 300 TL Teachers, teacher educators, researchers, and education professionals
Student Membership 100 TL Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate students in ELT, linguistics, or education

Membership is annual and runs from the date of payment. Renewals are processed each year. Student members must submit proof of current enrolment.

How to Apply

Required Documents

To complete your membership application, send the following documents to ingedturkiye@gmail.com along with your bank transfer receipt:

Bank transfer (deposit) slip Proof of payment to the INGED bank account. Include your full name and "membership" in the description.

Turkish National ID (both sides) A clear scan or photograph of the front and back of your Turkish National ID card.

Passport-size photograph One recent passport-size photograph (digital scan accepted).

Student membership applicants should also include proof of current enrolment (e.g. a student certificate from their institution).

Once you have submitted the membership form, please send the required documents to ingedturkiye@gmail.com to complete your application.

Membership Questions

When does my membership run from? +
Membership runs for one calendar year from the date your application is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email from INGED once your documents and payment have been processed.
Can I join at any time of year? +
Yes. Membership applications are accepted throughout the year. If you are planning to attend the INGED Conference, it is worth joining before you register, as members receive a discounted conference registration rate.
How do I renew my membership? +
Use the Membership Renewal Form to submit your renewal. Pay the annual fee by bank transfer and send your updated deposit slip to ingedturkiye@gmail.com. Returning members do not need to resubmit their ID or photograph unless specifically requested.
Can I join if I am not based in Turkey? +
INGED membership is primarily for educators based in Turkey. If you are an international educator with an interest in Turkish ELT or a connection to INGED's work, please contact us to discuss your situation.
How do I access the reduced IATEFL or TESOL membership rate? +
Once your INGED membership is confirmed, contact us at ingedturkiye@gmail.com for details on how to apply for the reduced IATEFL or TESOL International membership rates available to INGED members.
